The Chamber of Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria offers its more than 387,000 member companies a wide range of consulting and support services. Chamber of Commerce - the first stop for companies when it comes to business-specific questions on various topics
Our goal is to further strengthen and expand the strong position of businesses in Bavaria through needs-based assistance. Besides this range of services to our members, we also strengthen the position of the Bavarian companies through our

Startups and business succession
Each year, about 20,000 entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs, business assignors and successors receive comprehensive information and free advice from the Chamber of Commerce.
Startup and acquisition consulting, seminars, meetings, fairs
We support startup founders and business successors on-site in Upper Bavaria at the IHK Founder Consultation Days during free individual consultations. We also encourage the use of business management consulting through government grants under coaching projects. We offer sponsored seminars in preparation and planning to startup entrepreneurs, from the founding to the establishment and development of the company.
Succession planning, business valuation by experts, corporate exchanges
We support our members over many generations. In the context of succession or (partial) sale of a business, we will provide you with individual discussions and advice on legal, tax and financial issues with regard to corporate succession. Especially with the handover / takeover of companies, there are numerous complex questions. Using the coaching project, we can encourage the use of business consulting through grants. In addition to company reviews, we also offer corporate successor exchanges.
Financing, promotion, business and tax
Funding and financing alternatives
Each year we prepare more than 1,500 entrepreneurs for the increased demands in an ever changing environment. We offer information on rating and financing alternatives, such as factoring or leasing, equity and loan negotiations. Of course, our experts also offer free, individual business consultations.
Promotion
There are over 1,000 grants loans and subsidies available from EU, federal government, KfW Bank, states or individual industry sectors. We will advise you on low-interest investments through development loans. In addition, we will give you an overview of German and European funding institutions.
Business management
Information about business management subjects, such as cost/income and liquidity planning, investment planning and on subsidized consultancy projects in the field of business management and turn-around (Roundtable Bavaria/Turn Around advice)
Taxes
The almost annual changes in tax laws lend particular importance to the tax law. The Chamber of Commerce has more than 70 pamphlets on tax and legal issues. In addition, we provide information on current legal and tax issues during personal consultations and numerous special events.
Labor market, training and continuing education
Training and continuing education
Every year, the Chamber of Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria supports approximately 45,000 job training contracts, organizes and carries out the intermediate and final examinations. The training consultants of the Chamber of Commerce will help you in all matters of training. In addition to vocational training, we also train approximately 10,000 people in open and in-house seminars.

Company addresses: Supplier and customer search
The Chamber of Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria offers companies numerous ways of address searches. Our database on the Internet, www.firmen-in-bayern.de, allows you to select registered company addresses in the commercial register yourself. In addition, we can search for you other databases for customers and/or suppliers in Germany and worldwide.
Public Procurement Center (Auftragsberatungszentrum e. V.)
The Auftragsberatungszentrum Bayern (ABZ) - whose carriers are all Bavarian Chambers of Trade and Commerce - provides public bids and support in tendering German and European public procurement in the supply and service sector.
Internationalization
We support our member companies in developing new markets abroad and in the settlement of international orders. We also provide an overview of Bavarian, German and European support instruments for internationally active companies.
